I have a pattern in the current issue of Fat Quarterly! It is a take on the fondue pot i made last year but much less complicated! Although my pattern is a little on simplistic side, it's a super first project for someone new to paper foundation piecing. I think it would be a good warm-up or practice project before moving onto the amazing projects in this paper piecing issue.
The finished product has been very popular with my non-sewing friends, which leads me to believe that a pair of these would make a great gift. Not interested in the potholder? The pattern is very versatile an would be great for a pillow, placements or table runner too!
Gratuitous Instagram shot.

Please let me know if you make one. I would love to see it. And, as always, contact me if you have questions! I did not treat the pattern as a tutorial so images are limited.
Yay! How exciting! Thanks for reading :)
